エイコは19歳、地方の高校を出ると両親の反対を押し切って、東京の短大へと入学。同じ大学の啓子とマンションで同居生活を始める。だが、保育園の保母志望でガリ勉の啓子と違い、うるさい親元を離れて東京で思い切り羽を伸ばしたいだけのエイコは、啓子と気が合わなかった…。
