宇宙の賞金稼ぎどもを震え上がらせた超お宝首のお尋ね者ザウレムは、かつて辺境の星でエミリアと戦い、捕獲された。その首は人々を救うワクチンの開発のため、施設で研究され厳重に保管されていたが、ある日何者かによって強奪された。一方エミリアは、今日も相棒の電子生命体ブレインとともに賞金首を追い詰め捕らえる日々を過ごしていた。ある日、エミリアの前に情報屋のイタチと呼ばれる男が現れ、ザウレム首強奪の情報を話す。ザウレム首を奪った連中を捕らえれば、報奨金もガッポリだというのだ。
