忍野潤美と二人の兄弟は聖なる力に目覚め、ミスティックレンジャーとして平和を守るために魔族と戦っていた。しかしある日弟と兄は怪人メルデューサに襲われ、潤美の記憶からもこの世に存在したという事すらも消えてしまう。そしてメルデューサの魔の手が潤美にも襲い掛かる！変身して互角以上の戦いを展開するも、メルデューサの石化光線でミスティックスーツは石もろとも破壊され、だんだんと魔法の力を奪われていく潤美。
