世界征服を企むプロフェッサー・ダルは、ロボット工学の権威善光寺博士を騙し、超戦闘アンドロイド・ハメツダーを造らせた。プロフェッサー・ダルの目的を知った善光寺博士は、人類の未来を憂い人間の心に近い善悪の判断ができる『ジャスティ』を持つミライダー・ハナコを造る。だが、ミライダーの完成を目前に研究室は破壊されてしまった。不安定な『ジャスティ』を抱えたまま悪に立ち向かうミライダー・ハナコは、ある日、善光寺博士の息子であるタクマと出会う。ミライダー・ハナコは、人間とは違う自分の感情に悩み苦しむのだが、タクマの人間らしい優しさに触れているうちに…。
