数年に渡り町内会長を務めてきた町の権力者、みさ。有能で献身的なみさの存在を疎ましく思うものもいた。副会長のY村は何度も会長選に敗れており、みさからその座を奪おうと画策してたY村は、町内会旅行費を盗み出す。焦燥したみさはY村に全額立て替えて貰う事で、事態は一度落ち着くかにみえたが、みさに突きつけられた交換条件は人間の尊厳までも奪いとる卑劣なものだった…。
