真佐子と恭平は結婚35年目を迎える還暦夫婦である。二人は神奈川県の川崎市に構える自宅にて人生の晩年を静かに送っている。ある日二人の元に報せが届く。昔、二人がまだ恋人同士だったころに、一緒によく遊んだ高橋夫妻の訃報だった。今はもうメッキリ会わなくなっていたが、その報せを聞いて情熱と活気に満ちていた昔の思い出が蘇る。高橋夫妻を偲ぶ意味もこめて、かつて4人で旅行に行った思い出の地に向かうのだった。
