落ちこぼれの天使キャンディは、世界一みじめな松太郎を幸せにしろ、という神の命令で下界に舞い降りた。その松太郎は会社では上司の園山に怒鳴られてばかりいるが、同じ営業部の未来をひそかに愛して贈り物をした。未来は喜んだが、彼とキャンディの間を誤解して贈り物も突っ返した。責任を感じたキャンディは未来の誤解をときに行ったが、未来は冷たく拒絶した。だが未来も内心彼を愛していたのだ。
