剛志は妻・ルリを二年前に亡くした。夫婦で民宿を営んでいたが、ルリが他界してからは経営に身が入らない状態だ。そんな義兄を心配してルリの双子の妹・美紀が宿を手伝っている。剛志を心配しているのは美紀だけではない。ルリもだ。幽霊となって様子を伺っているのだ。ルリは剛志と美紀の再婚を願っているが…。
