この物語の舞台はとあるアジアの小国における政府軍の内紛を描いたものである。何者かが女政府高官の西村を陥し入れようとしてスパイであるとの濡れ衣を着せた。拷問官は西村に対し、厳しい取り調べを行った。一、自白剤を使っての尋問。二、真冬の極寒の檻、外は雪、高熱にうなされる。三、爪の先に針を入れられ、手足の爪をはがれる。四、股裂き、失神して失禁してしまう。伍、釣り鐘を被せられ、ハンマーで叩かれる。六、首締め。七、腹パンチ。八、奥歯を抜かれる。九、山芋を体中に塗ったくられる。十、強力な酸を体にかけられる。
