ご主人の実家は老舗旅館で、その跡継ぎ問題に佐々木さんが巻き込まれ寂しい思いをしているという。旅館を継がない理由をご主人は、嫁に女将が務まるわけが無いと伝えたそうで、姑さんからすると彼女が女将をやりたくないから断るというふうに聞こえたらしく、悪者扱いされている状況だとか。そして今回、一家から孤立状態で疲弊した気持ちを癒すために不倫に走った佐々木さんであった……。
