女子大生になった舞子は、貿易会社の社長の家に住み込みのハウスキーパーのバイトをしている。そこには秘書の小倉という男もいたが、ドジでトロくていつも社長に叱られていた。社長は良く働く舞子に感心し、2人は関係を持つようになった。社長は世の中には有能な人間と、無能な人間がいてバカは時々叱らないとダメなんだと言う。そして、舞子が自分と付き合っているのは、自分が金持ちで有能な人間だからなんだという。舞子は何となく疑問を感じる……。
