柚ノ木未緒は、勉学・スポーツともに高レベルな学園で、学生会長を務めている。幼なじみの鮎川凛香、従姉妹の生駒結衣、自分を慕ってくれている学生会の後輩・朝比奈このみ達と忙しくも楽しい日々を過ごしている。両親は海外を中心に活動している為、家にはほとんどいないが、住み込みのお手伝いさん・兎夜栞がいるのでさびしくはなかった。栞とはお互い姉妹のように思い合っているところがあり、家族のような関係であった。充実した日々を過ごしている未緒。だがある日、そんな彼女に思いもよらない不幸が降りかかるのであった。
