同じマンションで一人暮らしをしている浪人生・浩一はバイトをしながら予備校に通っていた。隣に住むかなえは頑張っている浩一がどこか弟に似ていて、世話を焼くようになった。しかし、ある日、模擬試験に失敗し自暴自棄になっていた浩一はかなえを押し倒してしまう。それでも浩一の本当の優しさを知っていたかなえはもう一度、浩一をヤル気にさせようと一晩だけの恋人になろうと決めるのだった…。夫に初めての嘘をついて―。
