並木橋靖子さんと大吉さん夫妻。夫婦生活はいたって平凡なものでしたが、大吉さんが半年前にリストラで休職、プライドが高い大吉さんは苛立ち、二人の間にギクシャクとした空気ができました。そこで靖子さんは、あまり気の乗らない大吉さんを説き伏せて熱海にやって来ました。二人がまだ三十を過ぎたか過ぎないかの時、無理してやってきた初めての旅行がここ熱海だったのです。当然お金もなくかなり低予算な旅でしたが楽しかった思い出があるのです。
