久美は夫を亡くし、借金のために亡き夫の弟次朗の家に厄介になり、彼の工場を手伝いながら生活している。顧客のところへは着物を着て、時には肉体を武器に商談をまとめる久美。次朗は彼女へ密かな思いを寄せていた。次朗の娘栞はそんな父の思いに気づいていた。ある日、久美は得意先に商談に行く。だが、実はそこはイメヘルで、そこになんと栞の姿があった。栞は久美を見て慌てて逃げ出した。
