女手一つで息子・宏彰を育てて来たれい子。宏彰は●校野球のスター選手だった。だが、れい子が運転していた車が交通事故に合い、助手席に乗っていた宏彰は効き腕を骨折してしまった。そして野球の道は断たれてしまう。それ以来宏彰は部活を辞め、人と関わる事も辞めた。大学にも行かず、働きもせず、現在ではニートのような暮らしを続けている……。一方、れい子は自責の念に駆られていた。れい子は宏彰のためなら何でもする思いだった。そして少しでも元気になって欲しいと、宏彰を温泉旅行に誘った……。
