とある寂れた漁師町。この町で生まれ育ったひばりの仕事は、宴会コンパニオン。もちろん客の目当ては、宴会後の特別サービスだ。客あしらいのうまいひばりには、常連客も多くついていた。明るく振舞うひばりだったが、漁師だった兄・明が、シケの海に出たまま行方不明となっていた。兄の帰りを信じ、一人待ち続けるひばり。そしてそのひばりに熱い視線を送る旅館の息子で板前の鳥雄がいた。
