未亡人妙子が経営する温泉旅館。板前の源次郎は密かに彼女に想いを寄せ、妙子が過去に一度だけ関係をもった客の岡田も再び彼女にせまる。一方、自分が妙子の実の娘でないことを知った茂美は旅館を飛び出し…。亡き夫への変わらぬ愛を貫きたいと思いつつも、肉の疼きに男に体を開いてしまった未亡人をめぐる人間模様をほのぼのタッチで描く。
