商店街の理容店の女房・夕子。彼女に髪を切ってもらうと福を招くと評判だった。近所の酒屋の主人・進也が夕子に髪を切って欲しいとやって来た。実はふたりは不倫の仲で、釣り好きの夕子の夫・文夫が夜釣りに行く日時を確認に来たのだった。その夜、文夫が出かけると、夕子の眠る寝間に進也が侵入し、二人は愛しあった。ある日、商店街のいかず後家・晴子が夕子の噂を聞いて髪を切って欲しいと店に飛び込んできた。
