小さなスナックを営む多喜子・てふ姉妹。しっかりものの妹・てふは恋人の高尾から結婚を申し込まれているが、返事を先延ばししていた。それは、姉・多喜子を心配してのことだった。さらに極道者の兄の存在がてふを苦しめていた。そんなころ、てふの結婚話を知った多喜子は、金を工面する為、常連の星野からの愛人契約を受け入れる。
