葉子は会社を辞め海外へ留学し帰国後は映画館で働いている。偶然元同僚の英二と再会し葉子はワンパターンの生活になんとなく英二と付き合いはじめるが、本当に好きなのかと思い始める。葉子には何でも話せる大学時代からの友人のタカシがいる。彼とはいつも他愛のない話をして盛り上がるだけで男女関係は一切なかったが…。
