大学に通いながら、出版社でアルバイトしているあさみ。センスはあるが引っ込み思案な性格で損をするタイプだった。ある日通りかかった占い師に「別のあなたが出現するでしょう」と予言されたが、あさみは信じなかった。ところが帰り道で、突然めまいがして、目をあけるとすべてのものが赤く見える不思議な体験をした。そしてその日を境にあさみの人格が変わってしまった…。
