天海蛍は、天海探偵事務所を経営する女探偵。助手の水野弥生と共に、切れた頭脳と自らの肉体を武器に、犯罪の撲滅に日夜いそしんでいた。そんな時、弥生の友人のエリカが訪れる。アンケートと引き換えにサンプルを配っていた会社に美容製品を売りつけられ支払いに困っていると言う。クーリングオフをすれば解決する事件のはずだったが、この事件はエリカの将来の夢に関係した複雑な物であることが発覚する。
