個人経営の小さな酒屋に勤める美紗子。共働きの夫・敏之が大怪我をしたため、彼は一人の青年・中島をバイトとして雇い、家に居候させた。美紗子は無口な中島の事はあまり好きになれなかった。そんなある日、敏之の同僚・秋田は中島と一緒にホテトルに行く。そこで秋田が目にしたのは中島の背中一杯に描かれた刺青だった。翌日、秋田は美紗子に刺青のことを告げる。美紗子は中島に興味を持つようになり、次第にミステリアスかつ陰のある彼に惹かれていく。そうした中、秋田が刺される事件が起きたり、秋田の妻・葉子と敏之の不倫が発覚したり...果たして美紗子の取る行動は？
