ジャパンフラッシュ編集部の記者、マリア塚本は実は地球を守るために宇宙から派遣された平和の使者マーメイドAだ！ある日マリアは情報部の知らせで地質学の権威、如月博士が山王山で古代文明の遺跡を発掘したとの情報をキャッチ、早速、訪ねるが博士は何者かに襲われ誘拐されようとしていた！マリアは謎の男達と格闘の末、博士を救うが負傷してしまう。そして博士の口から驚くべき事実が語られる！遺跡から発掘されたのはかつて地球の支配者であった、ゴヤ文明の遺跡だというのだ！そんな彼らは自分達を地底に追いやった人類に復讐しようと画策していると言う…。
