この世界とは別次元にある魔法と科学が融合した世界で、ある宝珠が発見された。その宝珠、クリムゾンジュエルは途轍もない魔力を秘め、危険を感じた発見者のクーオは封印し政府に届けようとするが、ジュエルは砕け、次元を越えこの世界に欠片が飛散ってしまった。クーオは責任を感じ次元を突破しジュエルを追うが、次元突破のエネルギー磨耗により、力尽きてしまう。普通の女学生である「上村このは」は助けを求めるクーオの声を聞きやってくる。クーオを保護したこのはだったが、突然触手に襲われる…。
