小さい頃から書道一筋の莉子は、必死に頼み込んだ甲斐あって尊敬する常磐流の師範・常磐忠雄に師事する事ができた。しかし指導は息子の秀雄が行うのみで、忠雄は一切口出しをせず、しかも女に飢えていた秀雄は修行と称して莉子の全身を弄び…。それでも耐えた莉子はとうとう忠雄からの稽古を許される。期待と緊張で部屋に入ると「全て脱ぎ、無心で書に向かうのだ」といきなり着物を脱ぐよう命じられて…。
