大学講師・志麻夫は学内の人間関係でノイローゼとなり、現在休職中。そんな時、土手で新体操の演技をしているレオタード姿の不思議な少女・由芽を見て心を奪われる。それからというもの、その土手に現れる由芽を見る寂しい男たちが次々と彼女に癒されていく。ある日、スポーツライター・麻里子は街中で由芽を見かけ、かつて新体操の天才とうたわれた少女であることに気づき、声をかけるが…。
