君枝は心臓の弱い夫健治の代わりにブティックに勤めて家計をまかなっている。一方で心の隙間を埋めるように、服飾メーカーのセールスマン佃との不倫に溺れていた。ブティックを経営者する梢は離婚したばかりで、随分年下のター君というあだ名の青年と大胆な情事を楽しんでいる。健治は昔働いていた着ぐるみショーの舞台に復活しようとするがうまくいかず、そのうち君枝の不倫も知るはめに。同時に君枝の妊娠も判り、健治は複雑な気持ちで彼女を責めるが、君枝の意外な反応は……。
