地球守備隊の紅一点、久遠つかさは凶悪な宇宙怪獣から地球を保護する為に 巨大ヒロイン、ネクストレディーに変身して戦っていた。そんなある日、成功率15％の手術に挑む車椅子の少年「ゆう」の見舞い訪れる。難病のために心を閉ざした、ゆうを励まそうとするつかさだったが、ゆうはネクストレディーを利用し足手まといの地球守備隊を目の仇にする。そんな時、双子猿人怪獣エメットが現れ街を恐怖のどん底に陥れる。
