夫の被虐に傷つき乾いた女の心は、平凡な男を求めた。日常に疲れたサラリーマンは、家庭を忘れ、束の間の不倫にときめいた。建設会社に勤める永井は、奇妙な縁で知りあった直子と電撃的な恋に墜ちたが、直子は黙って姿を消してしまう。その後、出張先で直子と偶然巡り逢い、やがてヤクザから強引に犯されていることを知る。謎が徐々に明らかにされていく。甘美な瞬間にしのび寄る影。2人を待つ過酷な運命に、抗うすべはない。
